How to turn one live workshop into multiple revenue streams

Published April 9, 2026

The biggest mindset shift: a live workshop isn’t a one-time event — it’s a content asset. Record it = on-demand CEU. Extract audio = podcast episode. Pull out key insights = a month of social posts. The live event pays for itself. Everything after is margin.

How do I make it on-demand?

Record it (Zoom works fine), set it up as a new course with the same quiz and CEU type, share the link.

Can I charge for both live and on-demand?

Yes. Live commands a premium for interaction. On-demand sells at a lower price to a larger audience, indefinitely.

How about a podcast CEU?

Extract audio, publish as a podcast episode, drop the quiz link in show notes. Third revenue stream, near-zero additional work.

Recording tips for repurposing?

Good audio quality and content that ages well. Avoid “today’s date” references that date the recording.

How many revenue streams from one workshop?

Three is the sweet spot: live tickets, on-demand sales, podcast/audio CEUs. More is diminishing returns.

The providers building the most sustainable businesses stopped treating each event as one-time and started treating it as content they can sell repeatedly.

About CEU Lab Certs

I'm an Org ACE Provider who spent years manually creating CEU certificates and stitching together clunky systems that weren't built for the BACB's changing requirements. I built CEU Lab Certs to be the tool I wished existed — BACB-compliant templates, shareable quiz links, automated certificate delivery, and audit-ready records in one place, so you can spend your time teaching instead of doing certificate admin on a Sunday.
